Back to School Lunchbox Ideas

Do you struggle with lunchbox ideas for your kids?

(Or yourself!!)

From talking to a few friends over the last couple of months, you definitely aren’t alone!!

We all want to be providing a nutritious lunch, that the kids WILL ACTUALLY EAT!!

So I’ve come up with 20+ ideas for you!!

Here goes:

- Sandwiches (roll these up into ‘sushi sandwiches’ or cut into triangles or soldiers for variety)
- Wraps (with ham/chicken, cheese, grated carrot, lettuce, tomato, egg…)
- Pita pocket
- Hard boiled eggs
- Carrot/celery/cucumber sticks with or without hummus/tzatziki/peanut butter/cottage cheese
- Fruit (can even use canned fruit and pop into a wee container - just remember the spoon!!)
- Popcorn (easy to make at home with the kids!!)
- Scroggin with nuts/seeds
- Cherry tomatoes
- Crackers
- Pasta (could turn this into a pasta salad to get more veggies in there!!)
- Sushi (or sushi balls)
- Yoghurt
- Cheese
- Fritters
- Pancakes
- Mini salad
- Dried fruit
And of course there’s
- biscuits
- muffins
- cake
- slice
- chippies
- muesli bars...

But I wanted to show you that there are heaps of alternatives to this!!

My kids usually get 1 piece of home baking and then the rest of the lunch box is filled with fruit, veggie sticks, sandwiches, pasta, home-made popcorn

What do you put in your kids lunchboxes? Please let me know in the comments!!
